I first trained in this procedure five years ago in London. Over these years I have created hundreds of brows!
Microblading is a procedure whereby pigment is implanted into the lower layer of your epidermis. It is different to a traditional tattoo (which uses a different ink and is implanted into the dermis), therefore, over time, the pigment breaks down and moves up and out of the skin. Top-up sessions are then available to book for existing clients to keep your brows looking their best.
The most common question I get asked is ‘how long do they last?’ There is no set answer to this as everyone is so different. Factors such as lifestyle, your skin cell regeneration speed, age and sun exposure can all play a factor in how your brows heal and age over time. For some, they may last 2 years before needing a top-up session. For others, they may need a top-up after 9 months.
There are three main styles of brows that I offer - hair stroke, combination (as pictured above) and a full, soft powder. Your skin type determines which style would be possible. This is why all new clients must book in for a free consultation so that I can assess the skin, check your medical history and current medication.
